Product Description
DNY type Gravity Belt Filter Press, is mainly used for processing the sludge which is not concentrated in the thickening pool ( Such as AO residual sludge, SBR residual sludge).
It also has two functions: concentration and dewatering. Its structure is different from Rotary drum thickening belt dehydrator, the sludge is dehydrated by the belt gravity, which is used in applications need higher capacity.
Gravity Belt Filter Press is a sludge dewatering device that applies mechanical pressure to a chemically conditioned slurry, which is sandwiched between two tension-ed belts, by passing those belts through a serpentine of decreasing diameter rolls.
The machine can actually be divided into three zones: the gravity zone, where free draining water is drained by gravity through a porous belt; the wedge zone, where the solids are prepared for pressure application; and the pressure zone, where medium, then high pressure is applied to the conditioned solids.

Flocculants are most commonly used in wastewater treatment and sludge treatment. This can improve the sludge dewatering effect and enhance the efficiency of sludge dewatering.
