Product Description
The Multi-Disc Screw Press Dehydrator made by Yangzhou Ryde Environment, provides the most efficient method of dewatering for municipal wastewater treatment plants and a wide range of industrial sewage sludge, containing fats, oils, fibrous and abrasive substances.
Our Multi-disc screw press dehydrators are excellent for facilities, requiring a minimum of maintenance staff and operating costs reduction. The dewatering process is operated using minimal energy and requires the least amount of other resources (flocculant, rinsing water, wearing parts), as well as minimal maintenance and staff supervision, compared to any other dewatering equipment.
The core component of Multi-disc screw press dehydrator is the screw body, screw body has configuration with screw surrounded by filtering devices which have moving rings and fixed rings combined together and lined up.
As screw rotates, screw filters and dehydrates sludge while it is conveying sludge. Moving ring of the filtering device is moved upward as screw rotates and water was discharged from the gap made between the moving ring and fixed ring, so that sludge is filtered and dehydrated.
The space between the screw and filtering device configured by fixed ring and moving ring becomes narrower as it comes nearer to outlet. Pressure which squeeze sludge become bigger as the sludge moves toward to the outlet, so that the sludge is filtered and dehydrated tightly.
This type of dehydrator doesn't need cleaning since moving ring in the filtering device is always being moved by the rotating screws and clogging never happen. Therefore, in some wastewater treatment plants, waste sludge pulled out from aeration tank can be dehydrated directly without condensation. Polymer flocculation is used in conditioning before the dehydration.
